Mar Vilaseca is a vocalist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist from Barcelona, Spain. Classically trained in piano and harmony at the Conservatori del Liceu, she began performing professionally at 14 before focusing on vocal jazz.

She earned her Jazz Voice degree from Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in 2020 and released her debut album, Find The Way, that same year. Mar later moved to New York City to complete a Master of Music in Jazz Studies at The Juilliard School, graduating in 2022 and receiving the JCAF Award.

In 2026, she won First Prize — the Jazz Prize — at the UNISA International Jazz Voice Competition. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with artists including Hermeto Pascoal, Emmet Cohen, Benny Benack III, and Steven Feifke, and performed at venues and festivals including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Birdland, Smalls Jazz Club, and the Barcelona Jazz Festival.
